I am officially back in the ghetto car club.  No, this isn't really related to jager but it's the most exciting thing that's happened to me in months so it inspired a blog entry.  Shout out to Harlequin Produce and Toby for hooking me up with this sweet ride.  I felt way too uppity driving a forester around.  Damn it feels good to be a gangsta (again).  It felt especially sentimental when it wouldn't start this morning.

omg!!!!  an actual, legit post.  Ok, this is one i've been meaning to post for a while.  They have good food, cheap, generous shots and some incredible taxidermy.  Today, i learned that grizzly bears are good at fishing and like to hump caribou. #awesome  yeah, that's right...i just hashtagged.

keepin' it professional

This is a shot from last year (get it?  "a shot"...hahahahha) from a pretty mediocre mexican restaurant in Denver that had LOTS of jager enthusiasm.  They gave me a generous shot and, best of all, it was in a skull shot glass!  Thanks to my colleagues for documenting this proud & flattering moment then sending it to my boss.  neat.

things i've learned about myself

yep, no posts in a while.  Apparently, i go to the same bars that i feel comfortable in over and over and don't explore new digs when i'm close to home.  not surprising but a somewhat legitimate excuse for no posts lately.  Seeing as my goal is to get jager to pay for me to travel to new bars, i figured i'd better do something.  so...here it is...this is a sweet water color that someone who shall remain unnamed (because he/she likes their anonymity) made for me when i broke my knee last summer.  He/she is so well rounded it's disgusting.  As a scientist type, i can't imagine ever being able to do artsy stuff too.  the title is "get well juice"

Best place for jager in Missoula, MT = Al's & Vic's

While I have developed an objective rating system to rate the best place to get jager shots (double shots) for this blog, full disclosure, i already know the best place in Missoula.   AL'S & VIC'S is, without a doubt, the best place to get jager shots in the fair city of the mizzle, montizzle.  No pictures.  Sorry bitches, you'll just have to experience it for yourself.  Joe is the shit!

look at me using my pano feature and stuff. this is my home town bar & my horseshoe team...'nuff said. Also, Rita is the shizzle!!!!!! (bud, you're pretty cool too...mostly because you dug into your personal stash when the bar ran out but for other miscellaneous reasons too)

the Rhino - Missoula, MT - $7.50 / double

i love the rhino. Still a nice combo of old dudes and friendly hipsters. Volume & enthusiasm increased as i stayed longer (as it should). PLUS, they have shuffleboard!!!!!! PLUS, they have a refrigerated, metal strip built into the bar to keep your drink cold (see photo).

that’s directed at you jagermeister (for forcing me to improve this blog).  And apple, and verizon, and all the people in foreign countries who expose themselves to toxic shit for unreasonable wages so i can have a more convenient life.  I just got a fucking smart phone.  apparently, people like seeing pictures on blogs.  One of my work wives asked, “why are you so scared [of getting a smart phone]?”  Wow, really valid question LRobs.  thanks for making me think about this for the next 32 hours.  Why do i have attachments to inanimate objects?  Why do i hate smart phones?   Why do i feel guilty about getting rid of my old phone?  Why can’t i buy something new if what i have works good enough?  Thanks to my counselor (good job Anne!) , i’ve learned that whenever i have these irrational, emotional reactions to relatively mundane things, i have to ask myself “how is this related to my dad?”   I won’t bore you with details but rest assured, it is.   AND, after identifying these issues...i got a motherfucking smart phone….so take that….um…...world.    The deciding factors being:  (1) pictures and (2) music while weeding.  Just for the record, i did research “mini cameras”, “spy cameras”, "baby sitter cameras”, “small cameras”....and found some.  but they didn’t also allow me to hook my shit up to the jobsite radio in the fields.   

***note***because verizon still hasn't delivered said "smart phone" to me, i am still using old pictures...this is a weeding competition among local farmers in ott 11, highlighting the necessity for a smart phone to listen to music while weeding. I apologize if this compromises anyone's anonymity.

ok.  so i guess i'm really doing this.  What you should know before reading:  

1. I only drink jager
2. I am a cheap bitch  
3. I’m probably drinking jager right now.

The purpose of this blog is to assist fellow jager drinkers in finding the most cost-effective shots of jager...whereever in the world you are.  that being said, i'm mostly a homebody living in montana that only travels when i have to (for work) or on the rare vacation.  So, i can tell you with certainty that if you're going to the honduran island of Roatan...you should buy your jager at Eldon's supermarket in French Harbor (which i tried to link to here but they don't have a website which i love).  wait!  i found a fb page.  They have lots of 1L bottles in stock and they're only about $25 (USD).  kewl.
Currently, i'm snowed into my house and had 2 different friends (thanks Kaly & Elena!) deliver me jager in my mailbox which i can still ski out to.  thank the good lorde above.
I wish i could stop listening to the song "royals."  dammmmmmit.
